One of our favorite albums of 2007 was the stateside debut from Scotlands Frightened Rabbit. And before you know it, well, they have another full length album in the can. Mostly because the 2007 release, Sing The Greys, was done and out overseas in the middle of 2006. The trio expect to not delay this new release however, and will be releasing it this spring on Fat Cat Records and will be titled Midnight Organ Flight.

Pitchfork has the first song from the new record to check out, and so far I’m enjoying it.

About

Joe started ENS in 2003 after most people he wanted to talk to about music were worn thin by his ramblings. The outlet this site provided helped out, and somehow is still going 9 years later. After a four year stint as a WOXY DJ, Joe returned to Cincinnati and continues to pioneer ENS. In addition to the overall look and feel of the site, Joe provides regular reviews, and kinda makes sure this whole thing stays afloat.

This is such a great tune – if it’s any indicataion of what the whole album has in store for it’s listseners – I’ll be first in line. I’ve heard some other great previews at http://wwww.woozyfly.com if anyone’s interested.
