The Explorers Club released their debut full length earlier this year and for some, it was a little bit too much like The Beach Boys for them to swallow. But I’m thinking maybe those people never liked the California legends responsible for Pet Sounds in the first place, because The Explorer’s Club remind me of everything I love about California surf pop.
