One of Cincinnati’s newest bands, No No Knots, are causing quite a stir around the city of late. The band has been playing around town and is starting to gain a really great following of new converts. We first told you about a band a couple months ago, and since then have become big fans.

Supporting NNK this weekend are two bands that might be new to you as well in Kry Kids and Chappo. Kry Kids are another new Cincy band we are excited about. The group features members of some other well known Cincinnati groups like Chalk, Culture Queer and Cash Flagg. Their electro-pop eccentricities sound like a good fit for this show and for NST.
Finally, Chappo come to the Nati’ from New York City and are also a new band to our ears. They too make pop music a huge party and are up for The Deli Artist Of The Month in NYC for April.
The whole thing is free and takes place at Northside Tavern on Friday night April 30th and I really can’t think of a good reason not to go out and see all of these bands. And just in case you were still on the fence about going out, this show is the first opportunity for you to get your hands on some of the demo songs from No No Knots, so take that money you saved getting into the show free and support this new band by buying their demo disc.
One of those new songs is available to listen to and download below.
