A little less than two years ago I had the pleasure of hearing Now Its Overhead almost steal the show from fellow Athenians, and rock heavyweights REM as they opened a Cincy show. Andy LeMaster grabbed my attention and right away I was a fan. I later purchased Fall Back Open and have found myself turning to it again and again over time.
Well, the Saddle Creek band is back with a new song off their upcoming album, “Day Light Daybreak”. The new album was recorded with the help of Orenda Fink (Azure Ray), Maria Taylor (Azure Ray), and Clay Leverett (Lona).

Shrugged, thanks for the correction, you got me! Thats what I get for rushing this post….thanks!
NIO is a great band, but you have to buy their first self-titles cd; it is the best!
Also try Orenda Fink’s solo album, INVISIBLE ONES…it is great, too!
