It took nearly a year for the third album from Cincinnati’s Pearlene to see a wide release, but as of last month, the album, For Western Violence & Brief Sensuality is now available all across the good old US of A. The album is one that I’m sure many locals have been enjoying for some time, but this might be a good reason to re-visit the disc.
If you are not familiar with these guys, they play what I feel is bluesy garage rock in the same vein as another Cincy band, The Greenhornes.
