Pela - Anytown Graffiti

Still one of the highlights of my trip to Indianapolis for the Midwest Music Summit last year was the opportunity to see Pela live for the first time. The boys from New York played a blistering set and unlike many indie bands looking to make it, the had a certain polish to them already. Since that time the good news keeps on coming for the band, as they were first signed to a label, Great Society back in January.

After that, things really took off for the guys, and the album, Anytown Graffiti, saw a release this week and can be purchased at your local indie store or on Insound. But thats not all, check below for just a few of the interesting things the band has been into of late…..

Pela’s Lost To the Lonesome featured on the TV show, Veronica Mars.
Pela dubbed an “Artist to Watch” by Rolling Stone last week.
