Pinback – Nautical Antiques

Filed in MP3s and Music News 6 comments

The San Diego based band Pinback are tossing a new release out there a little later this month. Nautical Antiques is not new material though, its stuff from the early days of the band, most of which is very tough to find in print. The songs are from previous releases from 1998-2001. Most of these tracks are previously unreleased in the states, appearing on demos and various B-sides on European-only releases.

Oooh, Pinback. More is always good. Also, the figure on that cover looks like an odd remix of Green Lantern and Darth Vader with . . . almost a Dali feel to the landscape? Funky.

This band has yet to disappoint me. Always excellent. Thanks for the tracks – great to hear new stuff instead of just reading about it.

Ah, excellent. I discovered Pinback for myself about 2 years ago, and have been trying to spread the good word ever since. This will just help me propagate the pinback!
