It’s SXSW week in Austin, Texas, and several Cincinnati bands are making their way south to take part in the music industry’s biggest event of the year. To see our listing of bands and some of their shows, check here. Among the bands are Cincinnati’s Pomegranates, who have done a good job keeping themselves in the news after releasing two very successful albums.

They recently released their debut album on vinyl for the first time, and now, have some more exciting news. The band has a new label home and a new album on the way as well. The new label is Afternoon Records out of Minneapolis and has released albums from artists like Haley Bonar, Now Now Every Children, One For The Team, We All Have Hooks For Hands, and Mouthful of Bees.

And the boys new record is slated for release sometime this fall, so get excited!
