Richard Swift and his lo-fi singer songwriter abilites are back on his new album for Secretly
Canadian records titled, Dressed up for the Letdown.
Swift is old school in his recording style. Like other artists like M Ward, he uses a 4 track recording device, the same one he used as a youngster to begin his recording process. The very analog approach is becoming more popular these days, but is well worn road for Swift. The new album is another example of his songwriting abilities paired with the lo-fi approach that his fans should embrace wholeheartedly.
