Columbus, Ohio native RJD2 is back and ready for 2010, and in a big way. And when I say a “big way”, I mean this cat has been really busy preparing for the new year. Not only does he have a brand new album set for release on January 19th, but RJD2 also recently released a pretty cool IPhone Remix App as well. The application, called Touch Mix, was announced on his website Monday as part of his “Monday Madness” series, telling fans, “you can make your own mixes on the fly with 5 cuts, and also get a sneak preview of another track from The Colossus.”

The Colossus has us pretty excited too, it’s his first full length release since 2007’s The Third Hand and if the stuff we have heard already is any indication, it might be his best. In addition to the new record and IPhone app, there are also a slew of tour dates upcoming, and included in the mix is a stop at the Southgate House on February 5th.
