Good ole Soul Asylum is back, (Runaway Train still rings in my head on occasion), with a new member. Former Replacements member Tommy Stinson has joined the fold. Its been 8 long years since SA put anything out. Here is a new song for you.

Be sure to check out Daytrotter, I just got word and am really enjoying this music site. Here is a sample about what Daytrotter is….

We feature one band a week that has stopped by our analog recording studio in the Quad-Cities here, recorded four songs to two-inch tape (typically two songs from their latest record, a new/unreleased song and an older track) and allowed us to make them available for download . These Daytrotter sessions have been really tremendous so far. We’ve already done sessions with Catfish Haven, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, The Impossible Shapes, Erin McKeown, Drakkar Sauna, Parts & Labor, Harry & the Potters, The High Strung, Hockey Night, Casiotone For The Painfully Alone, The M’s, The Donkeys and Jason Forrest . For the month of May and the first week in June, we have Two Gallants, The Smoking Popes, Dios Malos, Sunset Rubdown, Frog Eyes, The Like Young, Casey Dienel, Tigersaw, Ben Kweller, Oakley Hall, Maritime and Tapes ‘N Tapes stopping by for sessions . We’ve also tentatively scheduled sessions with Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, The Fiery Furnaces and others for the summer.
