Simon Dawes – Carnivore

sdawes Simon Dawes Carnivore
Unlike many bands that are actually only one person, Simon Dawes is a singular name that is actually a full band made up of four members. The boys are part rocky, part folky and self described as part fuzzy lo-fi lovability. After doing a bit of research it appears that The Beatles have been tossed around as an influence or similar sound to Simon Dawes as well, though any comparison to the legends is an unfair one. One that may not be unfair and even possible though is with Spoon. I do hear some synergy there for sure. Here are two songs for your listening pleasure from the upcoming full length from Simon Dawes from Record Collection.

The CD is titled, “Carnivore” and is due out September 12th.

 Simon Dawes Carnivore

Joe started ENS in 2003 after most people he wanted to talk to about music were worn thin by his ramblings. The outlet this site provided helped out, and somehow is still going 9 years later. After a four year stint as a WOXY DJ, Joe returned to Cincinnati and continues to pioneer ENS. In addition to the overall look and feel of the site, Joe provides regular reviews, and kinda makes sure this whole thing stays afloat.
