Sister Vanilla - Ex Jesus and Mary Chain members branch out

As if the news that the Jesus and Mary Chain would be highlighting one of the days at the Coachella FestivalSister Vanilla this summer wasnt enough, now die-hard fans of the band have a spin off to keep track of. Sister Vanilla is a band made up of ex-Jesus And Mary Chain legends Jim Reid, William Reid, and Ben Lurie. Fans of the original outfit will not be dissapointed with this effort, as Jim and William’s sister Linda, who was also leading the charge on the last Jesus and Mary Chain, “Munki”, when she crooned the song, “Mo Tucker”.

Here are two samples from the upcoming album from Sister Vanilla, “Little Pop Rock”, which is due out April 3rd on Chemikal Underground Records.
