In what promises to be the best MidPoint Music Festival in it’s short history, this years lineup was rolled out in phases over the past couple of months. And now today, we get to take all of those names and match them with a venue and a set time …

The National are back. And it’s not like they really ever left. The band that grew up in Ohio but did most of their musical maturing in New York returned to the Buckeye state Monday night showcasing their latest and possibly greatest album to date, High Violet.
The 2009 MidPoint Music Festival took place here in Cincinnati last weekend and now it’s time to provide our thoughts. Enjoy this recap of the weekends festivities from contributor Dave Rolfes.
