Pop Empire had never performed before Saturday night. Yet by 9:30, only halfway into the opening band’s set, their debut show had sold out.  Early internet buzz, word of mouth and a flawless lineup were all elements that drew dozens out to see what Pop Empire was all about.

2010 is not even a week old and I have already heard something that I am in love with musically. It’s new stuff from a brand new group and they hail from our fertile hometown of Cincinnati Ohio. The new group is called Pop Empire and it sounds like nothing else I have heard in the tri-state area.
