The Afghan Whigs announce New Years Eve show in Cincinnati

Just when Monday starts to beat you down this gem turns up in your coffee. Hometown heroes The Afghan Whigs already have a show scheduled at Bogarts this fall, but now they have a full on party scheduled for New Years Eve right here in the Queen City.

Yep, looks like the venue is Bogarts again and this time everyone will be ringing in 2013 along with Greg and the boys.

A link to the Facebook event is right here.

And don’t get too comfortable with the news because it’s time to buy those tickets, like tomorrow! A special pre sale for fans will begin Tuesday 9/18 at 10AM EST. Password: Happynewyear Tickets: (link will be active by presale).

So bookmark that link and get ready for what should be an epic New Years Eve in Cincinnati!

Joe started ENS in 2003 after most people he wanted to talk to about music were worn thin by his ramblings. The outlet this site provided helped out, and somehow is still going 9 years later. After a four year stint as a WOXY DJ, Joe returned to Cincinnati and continues to pioneer ENS. In addition to the overall look and feel of the site, Joe provides regular reviews, and kinda makes sure this whole thing stays afloat.

Wish I knew that they would play the worst part of the catalog and charge 65 dollars. They should offer refunds
As they mailed it in.

Kevin, you are crazy! This show was amazing! Come on, we got to see Marcy sing “My Curse”! I will give you that I was bummed that they didn’t play “Miles iz Ded”, but the rest of the set was almost 2 hours of awesome!
