A little more than a month ago, SXSW was in full effect and the WOXY studios were humming. Loads of great bands came in and recorded sessions at our studios on South Congress, and most of that audio and video is still under lock and key. Since then, as most of you know, WOXY has seen its demise, and who knows if the pieces from that week of performances ever get properly picked up.

Just as my co-worker Brian did recently, I am going to provide you with some of that material today here on ENS. It’s from one of my absolute favorite performances of the week, from The Besnard Lakes. This amazing trio released one of my favorite albums of the year so far, and in this performance, they share three songs from that album, along with one from their second record …Are The Dark Horse. So enjoy these songs and this interview from the 2010 SXSW WOXY session with The Besnard Lakes.
