The Bird and the Bee are a kinda new indie pop outfit out of Los Angeles. I say “kinda” new because the blogsphere has already been taking notes on the duo for months now. I however, waited to reserve judgement a bit, and after letting the 4 song EP sink in I can now confidently say that if you enjoy a sugary pop gem, this is for you.

Again and Again is the standout and title of the EP, though “Im a Broken Heart” is a great tune as well. My buddy EJ over at Loudersoft is all over these guys, and recently reported their live show is also not to be missed. They have a full length due out early in 07 as well, but you can purchase the EP right now as it dropped on Halloween. Here is “Again and Again”, with Inara George providing lovely vocals and incredibly catchy lyrics as well. Indie Pop bands take note, this is the recipe for a beautiful 2 minute pop song.
