Its been a little slow in the past couple weeks as far as concerts go. And by the looks of things, with the holidays just around the corner the month of December looks like only a couple dates I have interest in. But tonight should be a great show and Ive been looking forward to it for months.

Two bands coming off excellent albums will be doing their stuff tonight at The Madison in Covington. The Black Angels, still supporting the early 2006 release, and one of my favorites of the year, “Passover”. And The Black Keys, supporting their recent release, their first from with Nonesuch Records, “Magic Potion.” Magic Potion was not one of the better releases from the Akron, Ohio duo in my opinion, but their live set will likely make up for it.

So, if you are in the Cincinnati area tonight, this is probably the best show of the fall/winter season around here, and rumor is there are still a few tickets left. So come on out to the Cov tonight and enjoy what should be a great night.
