Just when you think Record Store Day can’t get any better, because after all, there are soooooo many good items at your local independent record store that day, the news comes down that The Breeders are playing a special set at Shake It Records.

That’s right, Kim and Kelley Deal will be at Shake It Records in lovely Northside on April 18th for an in-store performance at 8pm. It was just announced that The Breeders have some special goods to peddle that day as well including a new four-song EP, Fate to Fatal, which will be released on April 21, both as a digital download ($.99 per song at iTunes) and as a limited-edition 12-inch vinyl EP (priced at under $15.00 online and at retail outlets). But you get it early on the 18th if you hit up Record Store Day.

After Kim and Kelley do a short set, they will stick around and sign copies of the new EP. And Pod and Last Splash, two great Breeders album, are being re-issued on vinyl that day as well, its a big Breeders party!
