I have really been enjoying the latest album from The Celebrity Pilots, a great band out of the Cleveland area for quite some time now. The new disc, titled Spooky Action is a great follow up to 2005′s Beneath the Pavement, A Beach!, which saw a release on Sunken Treasure Records.

The four piece indie poppers brings their sound to the WOXY.com studios later this afternoon, and it is a return trip for the band, who also did a stint in the Lounge in January of 2006. Here is a sample from the new album that I really dig, “Festival Of Flies.”
