One thing that i've noticed is the lack of people,really no matter the band, coming out. Even when it is only 3,4,5 bucks to get in. Now, here's a case where the tour is skippng the entire area but outside of Chris at SGH, who's there to book indie shows? Some may scoff but Nick Spencer did more to try and bring real on-the-verge bands through than anyone else in the past few years. Seems SGH's indie (national acts) bookings are way down and other than a random Bogart's or Madison booking, who's gonna do it? I don't think Dan McCabe does more than a few shows a year any more.
