The Earlies – No Love In Your Heart

The Earlies
After fully enjoying the debut 2005 release, “These Were The Earlies”, I was more than ready to hear something new from the band. From what I understand, The Earlies are still split in half geography wise, with half the band residing in Texas and the other half across the pond in Northern England. This of course, was the factoid about the band in 05 as well.

The new single, “No Love in Your Heart” is an extension and dare I say a maturation for the band. At least from what my early listens can decipher. Though I hear the new album takes a much darker tone than the debut full length did but remains true to alot of the electronic experimentation that made the initial album so enjoyable. Once again, Secretly Canadian will be The Earlies label of choice, and you can grab the new album in January of next year, titled, “The Enemy Chorus”.
