The Hold Steady had the largest crowd of the night at Sonic Muse. And while I certainly understand their appeal, what with the drinking and songs about drinking and stuff. I have never been a huge fan. Even so, these guys put on a great live show, even if I did kinds think they were burnt out after Lollapalooza and mailed it in a bit.
