We have a new tune and album news this week from a great local group, who we are already fans of, The Minor Leagues. The band has been slinging their pop tunes for years now, and after hearing and reading a bit about the new material, we are excited to preview it for you today. The new album is due out in October, once again from the good folks at Datawaslost Records and sees the local popsters pushing more quality music, but this time with an especially local bent.
A founding member of the band, Ben Walpole let me know that the new album is titled North College Hill and “is all about the town where I was raised, how it’s changed, nostalgia for childhood, things of that sort.” I think that might be something alot of Cincinnatians can relate to. I’m happy to share one of the new songs from North College Hill today, for free download below. It’s called “Ghost Maps”, check it out and let us know what you think.
