I have to admit, I am pretty stoked on this one. Just found out last night that John Darnielle is coming to Cincinnati, of course as The Mountain Goats on November 13th at The Mad Hatter in Covington. I have been a pretty big fan of John’s work for years now and for some reason he has never been one to hit the Cincinnati area on any tour, and almost never Ohio for that matter. So this should be a great night. This fall’s concert calendar is really beginning to fill up. More on that later…..Only negatives are that Dave Bazaan will be playing across town on the same night! To celebrate, here is one of my favorite Mountain Goats tunes.
