The Music Of Opening Day 2007

Filed in Cincinnati, MP3s and Music News 0 comments

It’s that time of the year again, baseball season. And here in Cincinnati, it’s sorta treated like a huge holiday.dunngriffey.jpg We have a big parade downtown and the stadium is always sold out. And of course, hope springs eternal for Cincinnati Reds fans, although the team is nowhere near competing for a pennant. Even so, on this Opening Day in Major League Baseball, enjoy this mix of baseball themed songs.

And by the way, did you happen to know that Tapes N Tapes have a song, “Insistor” that will be featured on the soundtrack to the new “Major League Baseball 2K7″ video game? Also, 2K Sports will sponsor the band’s upcoming tour, which hits 400- to 1,100-capacity venues across North America this spring.

As always, for the very best coverage of our Cincinnati Reds, check out Reds Reporter, a top notch Reds blog.

John Fogerty – Centerfield

Baseball Furies – Red Organ Autobahn

Imaginary Baseball League – A Lot To Say

The Minor Leagues – Scene It All Before

Bronson Arroyo – Pardon Me(Reds Pitcher)

Bruce Springsteen – Glory Days
