The National – Lola

It appears that it might finally be time to start the Blood buzz surrounding a new album from The National. We are assuming that the band are doing some recording, and now we have another new song to obsess over as well.

The band, who released High Violet almost three years ago, appear ready to return with a new album sometime in 2013. Most of us have already become quite familiar with “I Need My Girl” as a potential new album track, but after the band’s performance recently at All Tomorrow’s Parties in London, we now have additional new songs in the queue.

Included in that lot is “Lola” which was captured by a fan at ATP (who had great seats) and posted on YouTube. The audio is weak, but it’s still nice to see a new track up close.

Thanks to COS for the heads up on this development.

About

Joe started ENS in 2003 after most people he wanted to talk to about music were worn thin by his ramblings. The outlet this site provided helped out, and somehow is still going 9 years later. After a four year stint as a WOXY DJ, Joe returned to Cincinnati and continues to pioneer ENS. In addition to the overall look and feel of the site, Joe provides regular reviews, and kinda makes sure this whole thing stays afloat.
