The National – New Tour Dates + Video Interview

Filed in Cincinnati, Music News and Tour Dates 1 comments

The National just announced a load of new tour dates today as they continue to tour their excellent album Boxer. One of the dates is at The Madison in Covington and I can say with some certainty that I will be there. All the dates are listed after the jump, but I can tell you that they are going just about everywhere and are booked out until the end of 07.

Cincy date here….. 09-23 Cincinnati, OH – Madison Theater

I also was able to interview some of the guys during Bonnaroo last month and have a video of our interview to share. And just to set the stage a bit, these interviews were very loose and informal and also short for the most part. Also, we had little preparation for lots of these as well and just grabbed the artists that were nearby at time. Matt, Bryan & Scott were kind enough to join in for this chat. We talk about Cincinnati, WOXY, Boxer, and the Bengals. This one is not up yet on The Futurist, but lots of others are.

#1 J-Love :

Those of us not COOL enough to see them and/or interview them at Bonnaroo were treated to quite a show when they visited last month. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing them. And I wonder who will open for them… Madison Theater ain’t too bad, either, and not just because they serve PBR tall-boys.
