The Rosebuds - Night Of The Furies

The Rosebuds are a band that tends to push the envelope when it comes to their music and with their newsnipshot_d4r0e1aa7jo.jpg album, Night of the Furies, that remains true. The first single, and the download below, “Get Up, Get Out” is a dancey little number with loads of catchiness. It seems that Ivan and Kelly hit up the local club scene for inspiration on this disc. They continue to pass vocal duties back and forth throughout the disc, and still manage to haunt and seduce the listener. It’s a positive progression from the 2005 release that originally caught my ear, Birds Make Good Neighbors.
Night of the Furies is out from Merge Records on April 10.
