Well, one of the changes the city of Cincinnati will be undergoing very soon is the new smoking ban if our restaurants and bars. Im not a smoker, so I cant say this is a huge deal for someone like me. I do like the fact that I can hit concerts and not have to come home smelling like I put away two packs. Even so, there are some bars in town celebrating the last night of smoking which is upcoming.
The new law does not however, effect Northern Kentucky, where one of my favorite venues, The Southgate House, is located. Which leads me to a great upcoming concert that deserves your attention. The Sheds have recently released another album of importance aptly titled, “The Sheds Quit Smoking”. The Northern Kentucky duo of songwriters have really begun to shine on this one, as the whole album discovers and explores the very subject of our post today, smoking. Ive featured the guys here in the past. Our friends at Fingertips, another great blog, had some nice things to say as well. And now, you, Cincinnati music fan, have a chance to catch them live.
The Sheds Anniversary show is coming up on November 25th at The Southgate House. Paul and Chris formed The Sheds a year ago and are celebrating their musical union in true Sheds style.
