If you are a big fan of everything Pedro the Lion like I am you probably are well aware of the new EP from David Bazan “Fewer Moving Parts”. So that is obviously what David has been up to since Pedro the Lion parted ways, but what about the other half of the PTL, drummer and sometimes vocalists TW Walsh? Well, it turns out Mr. Walsh is fronting an excellent little band called The Soft Drugs. The Soft Drugs released an EP titled “In Moderation” earlier this summer and its really a instantly likeable disc.
I guess TW was the brighter side of PTL all those years as these tunes, while not quite “sunny” are certainly not the dark and sometimes drag David Bazan infused sound you and TW may be accostomed to. Here are two songs from that EP, and you should probably listen to it and then purchase it here.
The Soft Drugs- Defending the Paint
The Soft Drugs- Dont Sweat It
TW also is a blogger, check that out here.
