The Times
The Times are another local Cincinnati band but with some differences. For an unsigned act these guys seem very polished. From their album art to their arrangements, im quite impressed by how put together The Times are. Lead singer Ashley Peacock has had an already successful solo career and putting this band together seems like the natural progression for him. With a style that draws from 90s britpop in the same vein as Suede, Bends era Radiohead and even Pulp. Ashley’s vocals are top notch as well, and if you have a chance to see these guys live, they dont dissapoint. They are playing at my favorite local venue on Dec. 9th at the Southgate House. Check them out if you are in town. Here is a great song from their album, “Begin”.
