Hope everyone had a wonderful and Merry Christmas. Things went great here in the Nati, looking forward to New Years. I have some goodness to share today in the form of an Elliott Smith tribute album I got a chance to preview recently. Some very nice tracks on it dedicated to the late great E. Smith, one of the better singer songwriters the indie scene has ever known. Enjoy these songs dedicated to Elliott from artists that knew him while he lived in the city of Portland, Oregon. The album will be released in early February on Portland-based independent label Expunged Records. Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Elliott Smith Foundation’s charity, “Free Arts for Abused Children”.

Very nice, how’s the CD as a whole? You picked 2/4 of the tracks I’m most interested in. The other 2 would be Helio Sequence and Dolorean, how are they?
Sheesh, talk about a drastic departure for The Thermals!!!
Eric Matthews??? I thought he had totally disappeared! Cool!
