The first time I heard UME, I became a fan. The first time I saw UME perform live, I became a big fan. The Austin based band has been at the front of the pack in my mind for a few years now, so it’s exciting to welcome them back to the Cincinnati area tonight for a show at the Mad Hatter in Covington. The band has been touring like crazy for the past couple of years, and have some great news to bring with them today as the band have signed to Austin based label Modern Outsider and have a new album slated for release on August 30th.

Modern Outsider is also home to ENS faves The Calm Blue Sea and is the management home of Cincinnati’s Bad Veins.

So be sure to hit up the Mad Hatter tonight and catch a really fun rock show, hear some new UME material and get excited for the new album. I promise it will be worth your time, these guys put on a really great show.
