If you are a frequent music blog visitor, you might have already heard of Millionyoung. But since I know not all of you are, I wanted to help spread the word about this great new band. Following in the footsteps of bands like Toro Y Moi and Washed Out, Millionyoung bring the synth heavy chillwave factor up a notch.

Still not sure what I’m talking about? Enjoy this new video from the band that premeierd earlier this week on Pitchfork. The video is for the album’s title track, “Replicants” and is set to some old stop-animation footage from the 1930′s and 1940′s.

The debut album from Millionyoung is out on Old Flame records this month.

About

Joe started ENS in 2003 after most people he wanted to talk to about music were worn thin by his ramblings. The outlet this site provided helped out, and somehow is still going 9 years later. After a four year stint as a WOXY DJ, Joe returned to Cincinnati and continues to pioneer ENS. In addition to the overall look and feel of the site, Joe provides regular reviews, and kinda makes sure this whole thing stays afloat.
