West Coast indie rockers transplanted to NYWe Are Scientists are the Featured band today, here is a rundown.

- We Are Scientists was formed in California in the year 2000 by Chris Cain(bass guitar and backing vocals), Michael Tapper(drums and backing vocals) and Keith Murray(guitar and lead vocals).
- After a series of three self-released EPs, the group signed with Virgin Records. Their major-label debut, With Love and Squalor, was released in early 2006.
- The trio graduated from prestigious Pomona College in California, and their debut album takes its title from a J.D. Salinger short story, “With Love and Squalor“.
