We have a special surprise for you today, a ticket giveaway! It’s been awhile, but we are excited to give you the opportunity to see not one but two amazing acts on the same bill at Bogarts in Cincinnati. The show is May 9th and we have a some tickets to give away here on ENS. Featured of course is Annie Clark, better known as St. Vincent, who continues on her upward career track, and deservedly so. If you haven’t seen St. Vincent live yet, you really should, I think I once described her as being able to “morph between a Disney movie pixie into a guitar rock genius.” So yeah, it’s worth the trip.

Bogarts is really improving their bookings and I think a show like this is a great one to re-associate yourself with the ‘new look’ venue.

Oh yeah, did I mention that Shearwater is opening the show? Well, they are and that makes it even more interesting. The band released their eighth album Animal Joy on Sub Pop recently and it’s as good a release as the band has offered up in my opinion.
