There is another excellent concert coming up here in the Cincinnati area next week. On Monday, November 2nd across the river in Covington The Whigs and The Features, who ENS favorites, will be taking the stage at the Mad Hatter. The Features released an excellent record earlier this year titled Some Kind Of Salvation, which was the first release on the new label imprint from Kings Of Leon.

The Whigs are getting ready to release a brand new album of their own in 2010 after the success of their first two records and being the road warriors that they are, will be headlining the bill here in Cincy next week. The new Whigs album is titled In The Dark and even though it is not available until early next year, we have a new song from the record to share with you today.

The Whigs – In The Dark

And oh yeah, we have a pair of tickets to give away to the show, so send us an email to enscontests at gmail do com with “The Whigs” in the subject line and we will draw a winner by the end of the week. Good luck!

Joe started ENS in 2003 after most people he wanted to talk to about music were worn thin by his ramblings. The outlet this site provided helped out, and somehow is still going 9 years later. After a four year stint as a WOXY DJ, Joe returned to Cincinnati and continues to pioneer ENS. In addition to the overall look and feel of the site, Joe provides regular reviews, and kinda makes sure this whole thing stays afloat.

#1 Daniel Mason :

Missed Dr. Dog at the Mad Hatter so this would be a great show to help fill the void.
