Got your tickets yet for the Wilco show next Friday June 12th here in Cincinnati at the Aronoff? No? Well we have one of the last available pairs of tickets to give away here on ENS to the show. Just announced this week, Heartless Bastards will be opening the gig, which makes the show go from incredibly exciting to so exciting I can’t find the words to describe it.
This is a pretty cool show in our opinion, so we are upping the anti just a little bit. Yes, we are gonna make you work a little to win this one. To qualify for the tickets, first of all, be SURE that you can attend. Got that part?

Second, send an email to enscontests at gmail dot com with the subject line reading “Wilco”. In the email, give me your favorite song from each and every Wilco record. I told ya this was a little tougher, right? So, I need your favorite song from A.M., Being There, Summerteeth, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, Ghost Is Born and Sky Blue Sky. That means 6 tunes in all.

Joe, nice contest! I’ll be at Bonnaroo by then. Both Wilco and the Bastards will be playing there on Sunday. Still hate to miss the hometown show, especially since it’s at the Aronoff again, a criminally overlooked and under-used venue for rock shows.
That aside, I don’t get the Twitter fad at all. (And yes, I’m calling it a fad!)
