Winterpills are able to serve up just what the doctor ordered for me with their new album, The Light Divides. Its a mix of well thought our lyrics and subtle harmonies. The second full length from the the Massachusetts based band is a really addictive collection of songs. The first album from the band, a home recorded record, was a big success and prompted this studio album, which really allows the sounds to move to a new level.

The tunes have a delicate and even dreamy appeal to them and Im really having a hard time playing much else this weekend. Here are two of my favorites songs from the album, which is out now on Signature Sounds. Check out the bands tour dates on their myspace page, listed below.
